An Airliner Crashed in Egypt

According to “Ria Novosti” information, on October 31, a Kogalymavia airliner (MetroJet) Airbus-321, operating a flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to St Petersburg crashed, while flying over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

There were 217 passengers and 7 crew members on board MetroJet’s Airbus-321.

According to preliminary data and contact information established between the Crisis Management National Center operations duty officer and the Emergency Situations Management National Center of the Russian Federation, there were no Armenian citizens on board the airline.
