Conferment of First Officer Ranks at MTAES

On July 17, the first officer rank –“Rescue Service Lieutenant” traditional awarding ceremony was held at the monument of “Salvation Devotees” of the RA MTAES. Minister Armen Yeritsyan handed Rescue Service Lieutenant shoulder straps and certificates to 6 employees of the RS Civil Defense and Rescue Forces Departments, as well as Regional Rescue Departments of Tavush, Lori and Kotayk.

By Minister’s decree, r/s Sergeant Arman Gevorkyan, a motor boat driver of special water-rescue squad of Gegharkunik RRD, and Harutyun Karapetyan, chief specialist of Civil Defense division of Ararat RRD were awarded with Certificate of Appreciation for conscientious performance of official duties.

By another decree of the RA TAES Minister A. Yeritsyan, Diplomas of the Ministry were awarded the rescuers and divisions, who became the winners of the republican festival.

The winner in nomination “The best firefighter rescuer” in the republican festival was the RA MTAES RS Ararat Regional Rescue Department, Vedi fire and rescue squad fireman, r/s Sergeant Mkrtich Martirosyan, the winner in nomination “The best team leader (commander)” was the RS Yerevan Rescue Department Erebuni division No. 3 fire and rescue squad Commander, r/s Senior Lieutenant Garnik Papoyan, in nomination “The best fire-rescue squad” was RS Kotayk Regional Rescue Department’s Abovyan fire and rescue squad, in nomination “The best Rescue Service Regional Division” was RS Kotayk Regional Rescue Department, and in nomination “The best Rescue Service Structural Subdivision” was RS Rear and Logistics Management Department.

Minister A. Yeritsyan congratulated the officers and employees, who had received encouraging awards, wished them all good service and stressed:
-“There are a lot of problems that we face. Today, I am proud to seeing and appreciating your work. We still have much to do, and I am confident, that together, we will find solutions to all problems. Congratulations!
